| Mivtsa Yonatan (Operation Thunderbolt) sku: GLO24005 On July 4th 1976, Sayeret Mat'kal, under the command of Yohonatan Netanyahu embarked on a daring raid on Entebbe, Uganda to rescue the hostages.
This brilliant, courageous, historic mission originally named Operation Thunderbolt is now known as Operation Yohonatan, named after the mission's commander who lost his life.
The movie, a dramatic cinema production recreating the daring raid, was produced and filmed with the full cooperation of the Israeli government and military.
This Special edition, released for the 25th anniversary of the Operation Yohonatan, is a 2 DVD box set and includes a 50 minute documentary on the raid. |
